A Trip Down Memory Lane...

Oliver is 6 months old, so I thought it was fitting to post some videos of him during his early days. This is his very first video. Those first moments were such a blur. I have no recollection of asking the nurse, "How much does the placenta weigh?" Haha! I do, however, remember the moment they handed him to me! Oh, and of course I remember the sweetest cry I ever did hear...

Here is Memaw (previously known as "Grandmommy and Granna") singing to him. She was a big help in those early days, and still is. Oliver spending quality time with Memaw and precious Mawmaw! Happy 6 months sweet Oliver! Mommy and Daddy love you!!!

Five Months = My Favorite!

Oliver is 5 months old! I can hardly believe my eyes and my ears! He is growing and changing every single day. His littlevoice is getter louder too. I love listening to his little squeals of excitement. His hair is getting longer, and is growing back in on the sides where he had lost some of it. He loves playing with his feet, and putting anything and everything in his mouth. He started reaching for my food, too! Yes, we will be letting him taste some food very soon.

He even had his first trip to the beach!

If we lay him halfway down against a pillow on the couch, he will sit himself up, and then topple over. He gets distracted very easily while nursing. For instance, if someone else is in the room, he will turn his head to see who is there.

He smiles a lot at Rose and Charley.

He loves watching Baby Einstein, (he will get so excited when the puppet sticks its tongue out). He has finally started taking naps consistently. He will only fall asleep though if he was swaddled in his bear blanket that his cousin Amber gave him (it was her baby blanket).

However, his legs have to be poking out.

He still likes his paci, although, I think he prefers his hands even more. He spits up a lot, but we think he has outgrown the reflux, as he does not seem to be in pain from it. We have weaned him off of his medicine, too. He likes to look at himself in the mirror. He also likes bath time, probably because he can watch himself in the mirror.

The biggest new mileston he hit................was....................two new teeth!

Oliver weighs 14 lbs now. Here are his 5 month pics:

By the way, this is my favorite age so far! Yay for five months!
