12 Months!

Our little Oliver is 12 months old!

It has been one busy month!

Oliver celebrated his very first Christmas...

We started a new tradition where we write down what gifts we are giving to Jesus this year for his birthday, and then we put it under the tree. Here is a video of Oliver deciding what to give Jesus for HIS birthday:

Over the past month, Oliver has learned to...

1. Throw a ball!

2. Shake his head back and forth!

(Video to come---Stay tuned)

3. Put blocks inside the hole in his train!

4. Point! This started because I point to pictures in books I read to him. All the sudden, he started pointing at the pictures, too. Then, he started pointing to people and random things. It is so cute!

Oliver had his SECOND haircut, (well, third if you count the teeeny tiny trim he had in between his first and second).

5. Oliver just LOVES to bounce annnd fly through the air with his daddy!

6. For Christmas, Oliver got a little Batmobile that he just loves.

7. Oliver also got some...MEGA BLOCKS! Well, no surprise here...Daddy likes to play with them, too!

We celebrated his birthday party with family and a few friends on his actual birthday, which was special! Of course it was his mama's birthday as well as many other family members, specifically his Aunt Megan and Aunt Maria.

He wore a yellow shirt which said, "Chicks Dig Me", a red bow-tie, red and white leg warmers and a monkey on his bottom...to keep up with the theme: Curious George- Bananas & Bow Ties.

I can't take credit for the entire idea, as I most of my idea from a birthday party posted in a magazine online. ;)

Here is Oliver decked out in his birthday suit and some of the fun decor..

Here is a video of us singing Happy Birthday!!!

At his 1 year appointment, Oliver was a champ when he had to have three shots AND a finger prick! Doctor Clark says he his healthy, but takes after his mama in the weight department (3rd percentile) and somewhat after his daddy in the height department (53rd percentile).

Here's a flashback from his very FIRST doctor's appointment:

Here are his 12 month pics:
